Fargo Polioe Department disclosed no record of above informant and ^he polioe consider him an entirely reliable informant. On 18 December 1948,1Dr# A.. 5. Cannon, Eye, Par asd ''Nose Specialist, residing in Fargo, North Dakota, was contacted concerning the sighting of a "Flying Disk" over! Fajrgo, North Dakota on 1 October \1948. Dr Cannon stated that -whiie he was flying in an airplane over a football field in Fargo, North Dakota an 1 October 1948, he sighted an Army plane flying in rather um usual tactics. The plane; w&js obviously trying to contact a flying object that was* it appeared to him, nothing but a flying light* Informant landed! as soon as possible, and sinoe that time he has been ""contacted by officers of the United States'' Army and representatives of various newspapers concerning the object sighted. Informant has been unable to give any more detailed information than that stated above* \ -> NOTE: i It seemed that this informant had been interviewed by quite a number of people concerning tho incident mentl^oned above, arid he vtae unwilling to give any more information.
